• Google Drive: When you import videos from Google Drive, we request read-only access to your Drive files through the Google Picker. We only access the specific file you select — we do not browse, index, or store your Drive file list. The access token is used solely to download your selected file and is not stored.
• YouTube / Twitch / Kick: When you paste a video link, we download and process the publicly available video content.
• Social media accounts: If you connect social accounts for clip export, we access only the permissions necessary to publish content on your behalf.

ViraClips uses Google API Services for authentication (Google Sign-In) and importing videos from Google Drive. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We only request the minimum scopes necessary (Google Sign-In for authentication, read-only Drive access for video import)
• We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service
• Google Drive access tokens are used only for the immediate file download and are not stored permanently
• We do not allow humans to read your Google data unless you give affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required by law

• Secure authentication via Firebase and Google OAuth
• JWT-based session management with token expiration
